I have never written a journal, but I think this time I should. :) I live in the Canary Islands and as some of you may know, these are volcanic in origin. El Hierro is the island with most volcanic activity at the moment, and I live in the island located just north of it, La Palma. And about two hours ago (at 15:07:56 pm, 28/03/2013), I experienced an earthquake! It had a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale with its hypocentre about 12 km under the sea level and its epicentre 10 km north-west of Frontera, El Hierro. It was both a bit scary and awesome.
